Naughty Dog is 100% focused on their upcoming, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Work on other games has been put on hold
In a Game Informer interview, game director Bruce Straley and creative director Neil Druckmann denied rumors that the studio was early in development on second The Last of Us game.
Bruce Straley explained "That's all a big if, we're 110 percent in Uncharted 4 territory now. Blinders on, make this awesome."
Neil Druckmann acknowledges the fans' desire for The Last of Us Sequel, "We totally get it, because we have those same feelings as well.
We have brainstormed sequel ideas for The Last of Us, and we've brainstormed ideas for new games, but all of that is put on ice right now while we work on Uncharted 4."
Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann were asked whether a TLoU sequel would be made without them. Straley said: "I will answer for Bruce. He would not be OK with that."
Druckman added that it's currently a "big assumption" to think that Naughty Dog will ever make The Last of Us sequel.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be available in 2015 for PlayStation 4.
