It has been announced Microsoft is to drop the price of the Xbox One in the UK to £399, which includes Titanfall. This is to bring it more in-line with the PlayStation 4s pricing, which is selling better than the Xbox One at a rate of roughly two to one globally.
The Xbox One is currently priced at £429 with a game. The PlayStation 4 can be bought without a game for £349.
However people who buy the new Titanfall deal will not be able to play the game until its release date on 14th March 2014.
Harvey Eagle, Xbox UK marketing director said:
"The reason we're doing this is that we're committed to giving gamers the best value that we can. We're only a few months into a generation of consoles that are going to last for many many years to come and now just feels like the right time to make the adjustment on the price."
