Set up in the first week of Modern Warfare 2's release, the Modern Warfare 2 calculator (mw2exp) aims to provide you with a complete understanding of the ranking system, how much work is involved to get your desired level and what you will unlock along the way.

The Ranking System

The Modern Warfare 2 ranking system is generally straight forward. Each level's required experience is slightly more than the previous. This level difference increases as you progress.

The experience table/list reveals the required and total experience for each level in an easy to understand and dynamic interface.

A short guide of how experience is earnt may be put together in the near future.

How does it work?

A mathmatical algorithm generates the values of each level, and keeps a running total for total experience requirements. The calculator interface simply askes the system to calculate the difference between two levels.
